These home made pop tarts were easy to make and tasted almost like the real deal, we took pie crust rolled it thin and cut out a bunch of hearts with a giant heart shaped cookie cutter. We spread our apricot jam on one heart and then covered it up with another heart, smooshing it down with a fork around the edges and then brush with a little egg and water and sprinkle with pretties! It was easy enough for everyone to help, including 2 year old Simeon who got up on the table and rolled out the dough. Moses and Micah even marked theirs with M's and were so happy with the way theirs turned out.
